Mechanical Engineering covers a variety of study areas including fundamental theories and applied technology of industrial machinery and mechanical system design. Especially, the academic development of system design and energy related technology have particular focus.
The department has been leading local industry with new technology development and cooperative relationships with industrial businesses.
Developing CAD/CAM and production technology development with local industry is a good example of cooperative work.
Majors in Mechanical Engineering may be taken in Materials and Fracture, Product and Design Engineering,
Thermo-Fluid Engineering, and Dynamics and Control. |
